CHINA - Republic period - MINGUO (1912 - 1949) Porcelain shangping vase with polychrome enamel on the body of butterflies flying among peonies in their foliage, the neck decorated with lotus flowers and peonies in their foliage on a yellow background. The rim is decorated with a lingzhi frieze, the heel with a leiwen frieze. On the reverse, the apocryphal mark of Jiaqing (pierced, wear). H. 39.7 cm
